Solution |
The main shear walls are precast concrete that extend from footing to roof. Infill metal studs close in the structure of the 6-story tower portion of the project. A steel-structured conference area to the north uses metal stud shear walls to handle lateral loads. Poor soils were overcome with the use of Geopiers. |
